Sweet Mustard vs Thundercloud

Sweet Mustard and Thundercloud come from the same Behr collection. Hue-wise, Sweet Mustard belongs to the beige family and Thundercloud to the blue family. The 11-point LRV gap — 34 for Sweet Mustard vs 23 for Thundercloud — means Sweet Mustard will open up a space more effectively. Where Sweet Mustard leans red, Thundercloud reads blue — a distinction that shifts noticeably depending on the light source and surrounding finishes. A ΔE of 64.9 puts these firmly in different territory — two distinct design choices rather than close alternatives. Below, 5 simulated room previews show how each color reads at scale — real-room photos will be added as they become available.
