Apparition vs Comet

Both from Benjamin Moore's palette. Apparition reads as greige-grey, while Comet reads as blue-grey — two distinct hue families, not close cousins. Apparition (LRV 57) reflects noticeably more light than Comet (LRV 36), a difference of 21 points that becomes especially apparent in rooms with limited natural light.
